If your car is more than a few years old, you’ve probably noticed parts of your vehicle needing some extra care. From dull paint and yellowing headlights to minor scratches on your car’s bumper, it’s important that you stay on top of your maintenance schedule, so your car stays in good nick and you avoid further costs down the track. In this blog, the team at FW1 share some tips on how you can restore your car’s yellowing headlights and get them back to crystal clear.

The right tools for the job

We cannot stress enough about the importance of using the right tools to get the best results when using FW1 Cleaning Wax. If you want to get that showroom shine every single time you use FW1 products, you’re going to need an FW1’s Terry Towel and Microfibre Cloth on hand – they are key to long-lasting results.

It’s easy as 1, 2, 3!

So, you’ve got the best car cleaner and the right tools for the job – it’s now time to start cleaning! Before you begin, you’ll need to turn on your car’s headlights to full beam.

  1. Spray on a small amount of FW1 Cleaning Wax on to the outside of the headlight and leave it on for 10 minutes.
  2. Using a clean FW1 Terry Towel, rub the wax in circular motions over the surface of the headlight – your headlight should be clear!
  3. Using an FW1 Microfibre Cloth, polish the headlight until it sparkles and you’re done!

To ensure your car’s headlights remain crystal clear, do this every six to eight weeks – it’s so much cheaper than getting a new headlight!
